1. ENROLL AND ACQUIRE THE TREASURE MAP AND MORE:
To embark on this treasure hunt, whether as an individual or a team, your first step is to buy the official Treasure Hunters Kit. There are 4 options available. You will see them in the treasure hunt store at: shop.go-get-it.org
This initial purchase promptly grants you access to an exclusive download page. From this secure page, you can download the entire TREASURE HUNTERS KIT.
For an optimal experience, we recommend printing the Map, Game Board documents in the KIT.
2. CONFIRMATION AND GRATITUDE EMAIL:
Following your purchase, a confirmation email will promptly land in your inbox, confirming your treasure hunt registration. This email includes your invoice and a unique NAMAQUALAND TREASURE HUNT – HUNTERS ID CARD.
Moreover, anticipate a link to a private platform or as we call it – your private HUB-Page. Everything will be explained in the documents.
Within the same email, you will also find the LINKS [URL] to insure you have access to your OWN ACCOUNT and CASH ONLINE WALLET – inside the official online shop – where you can buy the riddles cards to help you search for the treasure.
3. ACCESS THE GAME:
Armed with the LINK [URL] from the CONFIRMATION EMAIL, you’re primed to initiate the game.
Crack the first riddle on Card 1 – the solution to this riddle becomes your password to access and download Solution Card 1. Buy and solve riddle 2 to unlock Solution Card 2, and the sequence continues.
In this manner you accumulate all the cards. Now pay attention to all the concealed clues embedded within each Riddle and Solution card.
These combined hints, in concert with the clues on the MAP & GAME BOARDS, will ultimately unravel the secret of the buried treasure.
4. DECIPHERING THE RIDDLES:
The riddles on the cards are designed to engage your intellect and spark some investigation. Rest assured, all clues, riddles, and puzzles are solvable from the comfort of your own space.
An essential tool for your journey is a computer with an internet connection. This setup facilitates your research and, crucially, grants you entry to the “HUNTERS PLATFORM / WEBSITE.” Here, you’ll input your answers [passwords] to unveil your next card with clues.
Rest easy – the riddles and clues encompass varying levels of complexity, offering a delightful challenge for all levels of participants.
Picture this – with every collected card, you assemble a vivid image of NAMAQUALAND. A discerning eye might notice that this imagery unveils the path leading to the treasure’s hiding place.
Claiming the treasure as your own requires a final act by you or by a team member.
Here is a message; mostly to our treasure hunter friends based outside the borders of South Africa,
If you can’t visit to unearth the treasure yourself then we will help: One of our dedicated 75+ local volunteers stationed across different towns, villages, and locations within NAMAQUALAND – individuals completely unaware of the treasure’s exact location – will follow your instructions.
Their task is to journey to the PRECISE spot you’ve pinpointed and unearth the treasure on your behalf. Capturing each dig on video, our “treasure hunt diggers” will ensure your request is fulfilled.
Kindly note that these independent diggers levy a fee ranging from R550 [£25] to R850 [£40] per dig, with a maximum of 6 hours per day, and, at times, multiple digs daily.
Note: This fee might also encompass limited travel using a private “pickup truck” to the specified location(s). A detailed quote will precede the initiation of a dig.
